Experience the art of wheel throwing in this hands-on 3-hour class! Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some pottery experience, this workshop will guide you through the basics of creating beautiful, functional pottery on the wheel.

• Wheel Throwing Basics: Learn how to center clay on the wheel and shape it into functional pieces like Matcha bowl and Chasen/ Whisk holder and a cup

• Forming Techniques: Master essential skills like pulling walls, creating rims, and achieving the perfect shape for your pottery.

Workshop Terms & Conditions

1. Punctuality
   • Participants are expected to arrive on time. Grace period is strictly 15 minutes from start of the class schedule
   • If a participant is late by 16 minutes they will pay a late fee of 250/head, consequently, if a participant is late for 30 minutes or more their slots will be forfeited 
2. Rescheduling by Students
   • Students are allowed to reschedule their class up to 2 weeks before the scheduled date 
   • Rescheduling requests less than 2 weeks (2 weeks from their scheduled date) will incur a fee of ₱500 per participant
   • Rescheduling on the DAY of the class is not allowed, your slots will be forfeited as the seat is already sold to you once booked 
   • Rescheduling is based on the studio's availability and should be coordinated with the studio admin (email: chineramics@gmail.com, subject: rescheduling_4 digit order number). Wait for the studio admin to notify you that your new schedule is secured to you
3. Cancellations & Refunds
   • No cancellations or refunds are allowed.
   • No-show participants will be considered as forfeited if prior notification (at least 1 day in advance) is not received.
4. Attendance & Fees
   • Participants must attend the class at the scheduled time.
   • Any applicable fees (late arrival, reschedule, etc.) must be settled prior to attending the rescheduled class
5. Workshop byproducts 
   • Students will be able to take home their works in the workshop once its glazed and fired by the studio. 
   • Note that there's no 100% success rate in pottery as it takes practice and patience, the studio teachers will do their best to teach you the basic steps while having fun during the class
   • Students will be able to receive their works 3 to 4 mos from their class, however, there might be delays if its out of control by the studio (ie. storms, typhoon, earthquake)
